Proudly supporting the youth of the McDowall, Bunya and Everton Hills Area

Scouting is a growing, worldwide youth movement with over 30 million members. It is the largest voluntary and non-political movement for all young people. Activities are based on the interests of the young people involved with an emphasis on useful skills and service to others.

Scouting offers opportunities for young people to work together and develop hobbies and skills, it develops an ability to learn about and appreciate the great outdoors. There is an award scheme incorporating challenges which will encourage you to qualify in subjects such as citizenship, air activities, camp craft, water activities, fitness, craft, science, bush craft, abseiling, caving, rock climbing as well as combined District, Regional, State and National Activities to keep us entertained.

McDowall Bunya Scout Group is made up of:

• Joey Scouts              6 to 8 year olds
• Cub Scouts               8 to 10 year olds
• Scouts                      11 to 14 year olds
• Venturer Scouts       15 to 18 year olds
